Do I have to set up a paypal account or have my own credit card processing to sell?
No, You Sell Mart handles the entire financial transaction, buyers can purchase online through our online shopping cart. We process the credit card and you get a check once the transaction is completed. Simple!
I want to buy a product that is listed for sale on yousellmart.com, what do I do?
That's easy, just click on the item and add it to your cart and go to the check out. Print your receipt and take it to You Sell Mart and pick up your product.
I don't have time to post it myself and I'm not that good at uploading photos, can you post it for me?
Sure, just drop off your product at You Sell Mart and we will post your item for you and keep it here until it sells.
How much does it cost to sell an item?
There is no fee to post from home. You only pay if it sells. You Sell Mart charges a flat 20% of the selling price ONLY when your item sells.
If you need us to take the pictures and post it for you, just drop it off and we will post it for you and store it until it sells for just $2.50. Also, we will pick up or deliver any item in the Montrose/Grand Junction area for just $10. Call us at 970-240-9012 with any questions.
Do I have to have a stranger come to my house to pick up the product or do I have to deliver it to their home?
Neither!, Once your item is sold, you will be notified via email and you will bring the product to You Sell Mart where the buyer will be able to pick it up. This provides a safe place for the seller to drop it off and the buyer to pick it up. Don't take a chance meeting someone you don't even know with cash! (remember, if you need we also offer pick up and delivery services)
I am interested in a product, can I make an offer?
Yes, everyone loves to get a good deal! We just added this exciting feature that is unique to yousellmart.com. Just look for the make an offer section underneath the product and make an offer. If your offer is accepted, you will receive an email with a product discount code that is good for 48 hrs. Just enter the code at checkout or bring it with you to the store, simple.
I just bought an item at yousellmart online, now what do I do?
Just print your receipt and bring it to You Sell Mart at 19185 Hwy. 550 South, Montrose, CO. Just make sure to check the status when you buy, if the product is physically at You Sell Mart, it will show in the ratings/status box. If the product is not physically at You Sell Mart, then it will state that it hasn't been delivered yet. (all sellers are required to deliver product within 48 hours of the sale and buyers will be notified immediately once product is available for pick up)
If I post a product at yousellmart.com will my email get flooded with SPAM?
No, unlike other posting sites, there is no direct contact between you and the buyers. Your email is not posted and the only emails you get will be directly from us. No Spam!
I don't know the seller, how do I know the product will be there when I buy it?
Unlike other popular online sites where you pay the seller directly, we handle the entire financial transaction. Sellers don't get paid until you get the product. Many of the products listed on our site will already be at our location and be quality rated when you buy and the ones that aren't are to be delivered by the seller within 48 hrs of purchase. On the rare occasion that a product isn't delivered, we will refund 100% of your purchase price.
What are the ratings stars?
The ratings stars are just another way that we are trying to make the buying and selling process more fair and honest. Once the product arrives at You Sell Mart, we examine it and rate it on a 5 star scale, 1 star being poor to 5 stars being excellent. We also will disclose any known problems so you don't have any surprises when you pick up your product.
Can I post my item on other sites while it is on yousellmart.com?
Yes, in fact, we encourage it. As long as the site your are posting on doesn't have any rules against it, add a link to our website and let people know they can buy it online right away and that we accept all major credit cards. The more exposure the better, right?
I have my item in the classifieds in my local newspaper, should I remove it?
No, absolutely not! You want to maximize exposure so keep it in until it expires and try to add a line that says, buy it online today at yousellmart.com and your stock # so that people reading the classifieds can go to the website and see pictures of your item and buy it instantly.
How do I put my Items on You Sell Mart?
- Prepare your consignment item(s) by Adding your item(s) online today!
- After creating your posting you will need to print out the item's 'Print Sheet'.
- Either drop off your item with your 'Print Sheet' at You Sell Mart for storage or keep it until it sells.
- Forget about your item while we sell it, and wait for a check -OR- promote your item to your friends and family through social networks online or additional online classifieds and newspapers.
